How social housing works in Ontario
Ontario is divided into 47 service managers that each keep a centralized wait list. You apply to the one for your area — and you can usually pick several buildings across their region.

Use the registry directory to find the service manager covering your city or district.
Check eligibility
Generally you must be 16+, legally able to stay in Canada, and within income/asset limits.
