Security cameras we install at the direction of our clients are immediately registered with CAMSafe (Camsafe.ca), the voluntary camera registry that helps police locate video evidence quickly after an incident.
Registration means that if a crime happens near your home, investigators can see that cameras exist at your address and ask you for the relevant footage, instead of the footage never being found. Your footage is never shared automatically. Registration is a record that cameras exist. You decide what is shared, and when.
A security device is only as strong as its connection. That is why the majority of our devices utilize 5G WiFi, LAN, and hardwired connections, chosen for speed, stability, and resistance to interference.
Connection choice is part of the audit. We do not guess. We measure, test, and install the connection each device needs to do its job without interruption.
We are committed to transitioning away from 2.5G devices. The 2.5G band is crowded, slower, and can be jammed or interfered with, which is the last thing a safety device should depend on.

There is absolutely no cost to clients for this program. The safety plan, the audit, the devices, the installation, the cloud recording, and the CAMSafe registration are all provided at no cost.
The one requirement is Internet Service. Your devices need an internet connection to reach the cloud and to alert in realtime. If you do not have internet, we will assist you in securing it, including helping you access a subsidized internet package.

This section is written for landlords and property managers. It explains, plainly, who we are, what authority we act under, and what we install on your property, so there are no surprises and no unanswered questions.
When a tenant directs us to protect their home, we act as the tenant's agent. That means we install exterior security devices the same way the tenant could install them themselves, under the tenant's direction, for the tenant's safety. We do not act on our own authority. We act on theirs.
Transparency is part of the program. The landlord is informed in writing, and we answer questions directly.
Under Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act, tenants have a right to reasonable enjoyment of their home, and that right has been understood to include taking reasonable steps for their own safety and security. Our installations are built to sit squarely inside that right: exterior, tenant-directed, aimed at the tenant's own approaches, and respectful of other tenants' privacy.
In a Landlord and Tenant Board consent order (file LTB-L-086936-25), the parties agreed that a tenant can install a camera outside their unit, as long as it is not pointed at another tenant's unit. That is exactly the standard our installations follow.
We check the lease, we notify in writing, and we keep the installation within the tenant's own space. A landlord who wants to discuss placement, or who has a concern, gets a straight answer from us. The goal is a safer tenant and a protected property, and those interests point the same way.
